How is this different than other software for landscapers?

As a landscape company owner for over 10 years, I have used or demoed most of the options available. Some are better than others but all of them focus around operational management of your company. They assist with invoicing, payment collection, routing, dispatching, vendor management, estimating, job costing, etc., but none of them are strong at sales and marketing. LandscapAI is the opposite of that. While we do offer some core features that the other software providers do such as invoicing, estimating, and payment processing, our focus is on the sales and marketing aspect.

How does the Love It or Don't Pay Guarantee work?

When you signup you'll need to enter a credit card. You will be charged for the first month upon signup. Your card will then be charged for the Per Action Charges. But if you are not happy with LandscapAI and don't see how it can help grow your business, just email us at [email protected] and we will refund the first month's monthly charge. We cannot refund Per Action Charges as these are to cover the charges we receive from the providers of each of those services.

There are a lot of features and it overwhelming. Do I need all of these?

While we grant access to all features, you do not have to use them all. Feedback from Users has shown that the most successful ones take a depth not breadth approach to features, especially in the beginning. You are best off to identify the 1 feature that will have the greatest impact on your company and then execute it deeply in your business. Once you have achieved great depth, with that feature, it is tested, and ideally running on autopilot (using Workflows), move to the next most useful feature.

Our recommendation for most businesses is to setup your phone, text, and email first in the system. Then download and become comfortable with the mobile app so you can utilize the system away from the computer. The next feature to learn is Automation Workflows. While this is probably the feature with the biggest learning curve, it is also the most powerful and valuable feature as it will save you countless hours after setup and connects all the individual capabilities in the system together. Start small and simple with Workflows (we recommend setting up your IVR and Missed Call Text Back first). After this, you can choose with feature to learn and master next based on your business needs.

Does every plan include every feature?

Originally we thought that the lower tier plans would have limited access to features and only include all features in the top plans. However, after some research we seen that even the small companies benefit from all the various features. So we decided to include all current features for all plans. Future feature development may be limited to certain plans and this will be evaluated as the features are developed. But currently, the only limits on plans are the number of users (logins), the number of contacts, support options, and items listed under Special in Features table above.

Why not just hire a marketing company?

You certainly can and I dis this for many years. There are 2 reasons you should though. First, what I found is that regardless of price (cheap or premium), size (I dealt with 1 man operations all the way to large corporation companies), and referrals from others in the industry, marketing companies are inherently troublesome. I spent six figures on multiple marketing companies across 3 years for my landscaping company and found that they were all great at the same things - missing deadlines and making excuses. I paid $9,000 for one that came well recommended for landscapers and got a 1/2 complete website (which they copy and pasted most of the content from my old website), Local Service Ads setup, a letterhead design, and a yard sign design in the 6 months we were contracted together. I could have got the same result in a few weeks for 1/4 of the price from others. The second reason not to hire a marketing company and do it yourself is that there isn't a higher value function a business can do than marketing and sales. You are not a landscape company, you should be a sales and marketing company that provides landscaping services. So why do so many of us think the best thing we can do is hand it off to someone else who doesn't know our company like we do, isn't truly incentivized to perform spectacularly, and is spread thin across hundreds of companies? Because we don't know how to do it ourselves, right? Well it really isn't that hard and after setting up your marketing system with automation workflows, it isn't time consuming either. We built this platform so that anyone regardless of knowledge or experience in sales and marketing can do it themselves.

What if I am not happy with it?

What we have found is that those that actually use the system to even just 30% of its abilities are happy with it and will continue to use it. Those that signup looking for the quick fix and don't truly use the system are not happy with it. It does take time and effort to setup your marketing and sales systems, but once they are running the ROI is amazing. However, if you signup and within the first 14 days do not see how this can grow your business with a huge ROI, just cancel and you only have to pay for the Per Action Charges for the actions you performed.

What are Per Action Charges?

Certain features (listed above in pricing table) incur additional charges beyond the monthly price each time one of those actions occur. These actions can either be manually performed by a user or automatically performed by the system depending on your setup of Automation Workflows and your selected settings in the platform. For example, you have a Workflow that each time a contact enters it, it will send 2 emails, 3 texts (each 1 segment in length), and a Manual Call. For easy math, the Manual Call lasts exactly 1 minute every time a contact goes through the Workflow. You send 100 contacts through the Workflow that month, either by the Workflow Trigger or by manually adding them to the Workflow. You will be charged for 200 emails, 300 texts, and 100 making call minutes. You will be charged $.28 for the emails, $4.74 for the texts, and $2.80 for making call minutes s well as any other charges for other Per Action Usage outside of this workflow.

What is a Text Segment?

A segment in a Text Message is defined by our Phone Provider. A standard plain text message with no accented characters or emojis is 160 characters. Spaces, punctuations, etc. count towards the 160 character limit. Emojis, certain accented characters, and messages using multiple segments reduce the number of characters per segment resulting in more segments being used to send the message.
